Taeda® spent grain dryer can be used to dry spent grain, DDGS/DSG/BSG, brewery grain, yellow vinasse, rice grain, fermented spent grain, green barley spent grain and other similar materials. Spent grain dryer is developed and designed specially for spent grain products based on OSA dryer. It is featured in high capacity, small footprint, low energy consumption and stable running performance. Spent grain dryer is widely applied for drying spent grain material drying. Taking the final product got from one fermented spent grain drying customer as index example, fermented protein content in final product is high and protein utilization is high. Activity of yeast, lactic acid bacteria, spores, beneficial bacteria and B vitamins in fermented process is kept well. These beneficial bacteria can be used to adjust intestinal microbial environment, improve digestion function and restrain reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms. Dried spent grain is widely applied as fermented feedstuff characterized by good palatability and mellow smell so that to improve animal's appetite and food intake amount. After being put into feedstuff, fermented spent grain feedstuff holds superior performance in terms of production performance index for eggs, pigs, cow and fattening cattle.

The reason why Taeda® spent grain dryer holds such great drying effect is that Taeda does redesign for OSA dryer based on spent grain materials. According to customer's specific requirements, Taeda customizes heat source system and drying system. Drying temperature can be controlled and residence time can be adjusted. Until now, there are already seven mature models for spent grain dryer. During designing process, we have fully consider that majority spent grain are from grain product. In addition, there are microelement, amino acid and beneficiary ingredients in spent grain from fermented process. Therefore, based on above features, Taeda customizes special structure and modular so that to guarantee dried spent grain materials can reach optimal status no matter in inner quality and sensory aspect.

Taeda OSA spent grain dryer adopts new drying concept which can meet continuous large scale drying work of spent grain. Meanwhile, final product holds good nutrition content and color. With a set of high speed dispersing shaft in drying, raw material can efficiently exchange heat with vortex hot air so that moisture can be evaporated soon and final product holds good quality.
Relying on scientific design, for same capacity, total length of OSA spent grain dryer is only half of triple pass dryer and one third of common drum dryer. Therefore, OSA dryer holds small footprint and its heat radiating area is smaller than common dryer. With high energy utilization and low thermal loss, OSA dryer is more energy saving.
